The village of Marloes, with approximately 250 inhabitants is situated within the Pembrokeshire coast National Park (the only coastal National Park in the United Kingdom). It is ideally located for all sorts of leisure activities including: Walking, sailing, fishing, windsurfing, diving and bird-watching.

The village of Dale, known nationally for it's sailing and windsurfing is two miles away. Served by it's pub and restaurants overlooking the picturesque harbour.

Skomer Island is home to one of the biggest breeding colonies of Puffins in the U.K.Marloes is also the last stop before Martins Haven where you can catch the 'Dale Princess' sailing daily to the bird islands of Skomer and Skokholm. The whole island becomes a carpet and the hue of the bluebells can be seen from the mainland.

Skomer Island, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Spring comes early in Pembrokeshire, well under way in March and often starting in February. The Cliff path is a rolling mass of color for mile after mile, the flowers arrive much earlier than inland. Take time to watch the gannets diving for their food from incredible heights, see the seal pups newly born (mid-September onwards) and just take in the total un-spoilt beauty of it all.
